Privacy Policy

The Sociographic UG (limited liability) (hereinafter "Sociographic") operates on the Internet under the domain www.freetimecheck.com (including various international locales such as freetimecheck.de etc. as well as under domains with similar spellings such as freetime-check.com). Sociographic is the operator of the the social community freetime Check (hereinafter, "FTC-network").

Introduction

Sociographic takes the protection of personal data of users of the FTC-network very seriously and strictly obeys the rules of data protection laws. Users of the FTC-network in terms of this Privacy Policy are our contractual partners and those users who signup for the online experience of the FTC-network. Sociographic agrees to treat the data of the users with the utmost care. Personal data is collected on the website only to the extent necessary and shall be recorded for the purpose of using the software. In no case will the collected personal data be sold or passed on to any third party for commercial reasons. At a sale of the FTC's network to another company, the members of the FTC-network are going to receive a notification via e-mail about the company's internal development. If personal data is entered by a third party, then Sociographic has no control over the content and amount of the personal data entered. Storing data is necessary to identiy the users identity in purpose to resolving technical problems. For compliance with data protection laws the person, who enters the data is responsible for its correctness. The following statement gives the user an overview, what kind of data is stored for which purposes.

1. personal data

1.1 Personal registration

In order to use the FTC-network, a registration required where personal data of user is required (e.g. email, name, password). The personal information collected in during the registration process and will be used for the following purposes:

  • to identify the user for the Web service
  • to create an online user profile
  • to use the provided FTC-network
  • to manifest a contract between the user and Sociographic

As far as the input data for the registration is not required, the data input is voluntary. The user agrees to input his data correctly and allows Sociographic to store his data.

1.2 Non-disclosure of the users personal data

The users personal data (especially the users e-mail) will not be disclosed to our partners or other third party, unless:

  • we have the users consent
  • a third party proves, that the user has violated his rights by posting contents (texts, images, etc.) in the FTC-network and demands the contact information of the user
  • We are obliged to publish the users data, for example because of a court or administrative order.

2. Statistical analysis of the usage data

For continuous improvement of the FTC-network Sociographic is collecting and analyzing the data. Sociographic is not saving any unsage-data of people who are not using the Websites powered by Sociographic. The collection and analysis of such data used is standard in the Internet and is carried out, for example, on the side of the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection.

2.1 Access Log Data

Sociographic automatically stores information that the user's browser is sending to Sociographic. These are among others:

  • The browsers type / version
  • The Operating system
  • The computers anonymized IP address
  • the time of the request

Sociographic uses Google Analytics, a widely used web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", text files that are stored on the user's computer and allow an analysis of the use of the websites of Sociographic. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the website (including your IP address) will be sent to a Google server in the USA and stored anonymously. Google uses this information to evaluate the use of the website, compiling reports about compiling website activity for Sociographic and to provide other website activity and internet related services. In addition, Google may provide such information to third parties if required by law or if third parties process the information on behalf of Google. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by changing the settings on your browser. Alternatively, you can block this data collection by installing a blocking software in your browser. By using the websites powered by Sociographic, you agree to the processing of your data collected by Google in the manner described above. Given the debate about the use of Google Analytics tools that normally saves the users full IP address, we would like to point out that all Sociographic sites user Google Analytics with the "_anonymizeIp ()" function, that is shortening the users IP address so that he cannot be directly associated with the IP.

2.2 Cookies

Our internet pages are often using so called cookies. They serve to make our service more user-friendly, effective and safer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on the users computer and stores the user's browser. Cookies are not harming the users computer and do not contain viruses. 4. Withdrawal

A revocation may have the consequence that the user cannot use certain functions to their full extent.
